Hurricane Rock ist eine Kombination aus Industriedesign und Handwerkskunst. Inspiriert wurde es von der fantastischen Felsformation “Lords Rock” in Böhmen. Durch ein einzigartiges Verfahren fließt die Farbe beim Pressen von Hand in das kristallklare Glas.
Hurricane Rock ist ca. 12 cm hoch und 10 cm im Durchmesser. Das Gewicht beträgt ca. 1,4 kg. Wir empfehlen ein Paraffin-Teelicht mit einem Durchmesser von maximal 35 mm – am besten in einem Plastikbecher, der ein schöneres Licht ergibt. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Licht in die Windlicht zentriert ist, um eine ungleichmäßige Erwärmung der Innenwände die Windlicht zu vermeiden.
Bitte beachten Sie, Hurricane Rock ist eine handgepresste Laterne, was bedeutet, dass jede Laterne von Hand gefertigt wird. Das bedeutet, dass es dabei zu kleinen Unregelmäßigkeiten im Inneren des Glases kommen kann, etwa zu kleinen Bläschen und Linien. Diese sind nichts anderes als ein Teil der handgefertigten Arbeit und verleihen jedem Hurricane Rock seinen eigenen einzigartigen Charakter und seine eigene Schönheit.

Our Lanterns are made of glass and crystal, which makes them fragile and should therefore be handled with extra care.
Our lanterns must be cleaned by hand and cannot be washed in the dishwasher. The important thing to think about before you clean one of our lanterns is to make sure that your lantern has cooled down completely, otherwise there is a risk of it breaking.
When cleaning the inside of the candle lantern, wash it with lukewarm water and mild detergent and remember to use a soft sponge or dish brush.
To clean the outside, use a soft dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using sharp objects, chemicals or extensive polishing as this may damage the surface.
Do not expose your Hurricane to extreme temperature changes, for example a lamp that has been left outside or in a drafty window should not be cleaned with hot water before it has reached room temperature.
If you need to remove paraffin from the inside, fill the lantern halfway with lukewarm water and a mild detergent and then let it work for about 10 minutes. The paraffin softens and thus becomes easy to remove with a wooden spoon or corkscrew.
For all our lanterns we recommend paraffin candles instead of 100% candle wax as paraffin has a higher melting point.
